Lawrence Songbook is a first of-its-kind local legacy project devised to celebrate, uplift and amplify the songs and songwriters of Lawrence, KS. Utilizing the traditional songbook format, local music has been transcribed to be preserved, played and shared. Included songs will become part of the local cultural soundscape, creating opportunities for musicians, educators, and residents to learn and interpret the songs of their community.
